Providing a pro-active approach Claire works alongside a wide range of clients – from start-up businesses to established companies in addition to assisting private individuals with appropriate tax advice in a professional and friendly manner. It is part of her role at Polaris 3 to help clients understand and be aware of their tax requirements and to advise them and then deal with all the necessary paperwork on their behalf. All in plain English. Betty is a lovely Yorkshire lass and also FaB Club’s Treasurer. She has brilliant imagination and knows how to apply her ideas to design and branding, which makes her perfect for the role as Creative Director of ‘we are CODA Ltd’ a design agency based in Leeds. As a co-founder, Betty, along with the rest of the team of design and marketing professionals, really feel it’s vital to build a partnership with their clients, so even after a project is completed, they like to stay in touch and continue to help grow their clients business with effective marketing and great design.

Gillian, who originally hails from Scotland, is really good fun and entertaining so perfect as FaB Clubs Events Organiser. Be it a day at the races, or trips to the Champagne region, she can sort it. We think ‘organiser’ is her middle name as she really does go that extra mile to ensure everything is thought of, sorted and arranged so we can ALL have a fantastic time and experience.

SHARON Magson is great fun, warm and friendly and has lots and lots of experience and knowledge of the UK’s banking world. Her ease of creating and building relationships makes Sharon perfect in her role as Individual Banking Manager for Handelsbanken. Louise Turner has a love of words and can often be found tethered to her laptop in the early hours, bashing away at the keys. She strongly believes it’s the questions you don’t ask (that probably lead to the mistakes you do make) that you should say sorry for.
A former media and communications manager in the public and private sector, Louise has written on a wide variety of topics and in various formats. From press releases for Morrisons to briefs for the Prime Minister, her writing career has taken in topics ranging from the fluffy (real nappies and bath bubbles) to the functional (kitchens, bathrooms and aeronautic alloys), along with her particular favourite, the sparkly (courtesy of other FaB member, Nicky Chadwick of Iain Henderson Design).

Louise truly believes that variety is the spice of life and is always looking at add clients from new sectors to her portfolio. Her love of words and storytelling prompted her to start her own business, Wordsmiths Unlimited, in 2011.
When she’s not at her laptop Louise loves to spend time with her family, often in the outdoors, sometimes in a tent. She’s also a big fan of gin and sleep, but doesn’t get enough of either.
STEPHANIE Douthwaite is smart, friendly and vivacious, all pretty ideal characteristics for her role as an associate solicitor at Clarion Solicitors specialising in Family Law. She qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and worked at Blacks from 2010 to 2016 before moving to Clarion Solicitors. Steph is friendly yet assertive and she works extremely hard to obtain her clients’ required results. Steph specialises in divorce and financial matters relating to divorce including both Court proceedings and settlements outside of Court by way of Consent Orders. Steph has a strong background in employment and commercial law, which gives her a unique insight into financial cases.

She delivers a big boost of energy to any environment, making sure needs are met, plans delivered and people are inspired, always leaving the organisation in even better shape than when she arrived.

A marketing graduate who has taken the core basics of that discipline and spent more than 20 years ensuring that the customer – whether consumer or employee – is understood and at the heart of any communications. Victoria is a genuine champion for change, energized and excited to take on new opportunities. Sector-hopping over the years means her people insight is finely honed and from delivering award winning successful communications strategies, plans and campaigns she knows what works and what doesn’t.
Flicking through the career photo album shows Victoria recruiting for the British Army, directing accounts at advertising agency Golley Slater, walking the corridors of Whitehall with the Department for Work and Pensions, influencing communications with human rights activists in Amnesty International, training communicators in the Financial Conduct Authority as it reshaped as an organisation and more recently directing the communications and engagement for the multi award winning Capita – O2 partnership.

MEG Burton is a warm, enthusiastic and supportive Career Coach and Mentor working with individuals to help them find their perfect job or perform brilliantly in the one they’re in. With a background in designing and facilitating leadership and management development training for large corporate business and as a consultant with Cube Learning & Development, Meg works with a wide range of clients from senior leaders through to graduates and school leaves to help support them through various career transitions including first role, promotion, career moves, redundancy and retirement.

Motivated by helping people achieve their goals she is often found delivering career workshops or providing one to one coaching as part of outplacement support, retirement seminars, career development programmes or executive coaching. Working with clients who need a neutral sounding board and listening ear as they take on new challenges in a current role or those starting from scratch in the search for a brand new position Meg helps her clients be at their best whether this is support writing their CV, building confidence for interview success or support managing change and wellbeing.
SUZANNE Shaw has been working in the field of learning and development as a facilitator and trainer since 2004. She became accredited in the Insights Discovery model in 2005 and became part of The Colour Works team in 2012. Suzanne works with a tool called Insights Discovery which is a cornerstone of her work. This helps to hold up a mirror to individuals and teams to help increase self awareness, to understand others and help them consider how to best communicate with colleagues, team members, clients and business partners. Suzanne never ceases to be amazed at how impactful the model is. People leave workshops astonished at the degree of accuracy the profiles have and more importantly how the tool can really help cement working relationships. Suzanne has had the opportunity of working in all sectors and with a vast array of people at different levels within organisations.

Suzanne likes to work hard and play equally hard. In her spare time she loves to get out into the Yorkshire Dales with her family and friends and enjoys walking, cycling and running -AKA lolloping! She has been trying to banish her swimming demons after being inspired by the dolphin like antics of her young daughter. She has recently completed her 2nd fun triathlon swimming front crawl which is a major achievement..actually a minor miracle!
